Mercury Bar in the Villagio Center, Katy. This is a nice upscale little bar with a great tappas menu. The prices are reasonable and it's close to home.

Arturos Italian Restaurant in Uptown Park has fantastic Italian food. On the expensive side but the atmosphere is great. Perfect for a special occasion.
